I am getting ready to take my EZup tent and mesh walls to set it up to take a booth photo at a local photo studio (Procam). I recently purchased the mesh walls and also purchased the french door with the rear entry. I am wondering when doing the booth photo if I should not use the french door and instead just use the 3 walls as normal? I cannot say for sure I will use the french doors since I haven't used them at a fair yet, so would it be more prudent to just do the booth photo in the traditional way?

BTW I am a photographer.

Thanks,

Alanna

  • Thanks Larry and Jim I will take your advice.

  • Three walls. Shows don't pay a huge amount of attention if you set up slightly differently at a show. If you have an escape route around the sides of your tent, you don't absolutely need the back entrance unless it gives you more hanging space. If I'm jammed between two other booths at a show, that back entrance is a life saver, however, and I usually plan for it. Even when I have a corner, I'll usually set up two panels on one side of the back wall, a door, and another panel. I have the thirty inch Propanels though, and I can't fit 4 across without going outside the sta-bar on one side.

But for the booth shot: just do three walls, straight on, like Larry recommends. Easier, cleaner.

  • Just three ten foot walls makes a better booth picture with fewer distractions.
