Hello there!
I'm new. I just found this site and I signed up right away! It looks to be exactly what I've been looking for for the past few years. I'm so excited to a part of this community.
A little introduction:
I am a painter mostly. I do little bits of other types of art but I mostly paint. I use acrylic and my style usually consists of bright bold colors and broad brush strokes. I love abstract!
I recently graduated with my Associates in arts and if all goes well, I will be transferring to a university in the fall to start work on my bachelors. It is during that time that I hope to get really involved in appearing at art shows. I have never been in an art show before. I go to them all the time but have yet to sell at one.
Anyway. I'm excited to be here!

It's a great community! We have lots of helpful, informative Vets here, great forums for finding tips on equipment,
Jurying into the Arts Fairs, handy hints on tents and what-not. Troll the forums- great info there! If you can't find what you need, pop into the appropriate forum and ask! We also have some rollicking great discussions on the Art Fair world in general! Looking forward to seeing your posts!

We're glad to have you join us, Becca. The depth of experience here is like a college education. I know people here who went straight from school to the streets and never had another job. It is possible.
