What you'll learn if you haven't yet is that your jury slides (what we call them) or jury images are your most important asset when it comes to getting into art shows. Some artists hire jury slide photographers who specialize in creating good jury images and other artists are the "do it yourself" type who want to do their own photography. What prompted me start this thread is that I recently had great success working with an artist teaching her how to get great looking jury images of her work:
The A image is what she was doing before I suggested purchasing lights, background and the EZCube which provided soft diffused pleasing light. The result was the B image after my post processing.
