I’ll be doing this section for the first time. And yes, I have been in several other sections in the past decade and half or so.
I usually think the northern end (closer to Magnolia) is better than the southern (closer to Hill Street), but have not actually been on the southern end of any of the shows in a long time.
Thanks!

Thanks (for the legitimate responses, at any rate. I saw Holly’s earlier today, but could not think of why she even bothered to write that. I saw nothing to be gained by responding to it. )
Lori, I did Third Street a few years back, near 4th and Magnolia as well. Not on the corner, but close. Really liked that location, despite the tight booth spaces, but have not been accepted there recently.
Robert, it’s good to know that the southern end gets good traffic. So you think people enter from south and move north? When I was on Magnolia (Third Street section) it seemed like traffic was overwhelmingly moving from west to east. But where they entered the show to begin with, I didn’t know. Especially since there are 3 parallel north-to-south streets. I don’t know how patrons cover the site in an organized fashion. Down one and up the other? When I did 1300 South Third section, it seemed similarly like it was flowing up south to north. Perhaps there is a gigantic parking lot south?
But Fourth street is the only section I have never done (well, not Belgravia or the church). I’ve walked them all, but after hours, which was the only time I could leave my booth.
I'm at the southern end, FS607, and the crowds are wall to wall down there. That end does have the distinction of being the first they get to as they arrive and the last they see as they leave. The trick is to have enough distinctive work that will grab their attention and pull them in out of the river of people passing by.
I'm in the third st section but my space is on the corner of 4th and Magnolia and it's always slammin busy
...anyone have any input? I've run out of time, and have to send in the booth fee. I've been called off the wait list, and need to get it in promptly.
my condolences.
With all due respect, Holly, do you ever have anything positive to say?
