I've read that the Belgravia section of St. James is very shaded all day by trees. I also saw that electricity is not available and generators are not allowed. I sell paintings that really need a good bit of light hitting them. My question is, do the overhead trees make the tents dark enough that they require additional lighting, or just a little darker than usual?
Has anyone had any luck with residents sharing electricity?
Also, I thought maybe I could use a solar powered flood light. Anyone have any luck trying this method?

I 've never had a problem with the light situation on Belgravia. The trees are mostly "between " the booths, so they don't seem to overshadow the booth . Also , they are not THAT big . I have art that needs to be read, so need good lighting ...but have never needed to add artificial lights. Some jewelry artists, may be using lights, I don't know. As friendly as the residents are on that court , I wouldn't doubt if they let you plug in ...
Great to know, thanks!
