I think it's time to revive the "Bacon Reports", being that Kara made reference to it at the Plaza artist's breakfast. So what says you? Which artist breakfast has the best bacon? For the record, the high bar remains the bacon at the Ritz for the Clayton show back when the Ritz was the host in St. Louis. Plaza 2012 gets about an 8 out of ten based on Quantity: excellent, Crispyness: pretty good but somewhat greasy toward the bottom, Thickness: a little thin (but this is a personal preference). So let's hear it, after all even my vegetarian friends seem to like good bacon occasionally.

Breakfast - Cain Park Arts Festival, Cleveland Heights, OH -- these folks wrote the primer on artist hospitality and the local restaurants vied to show off their best to the artists
Dinner - a tie
Cherry Creek - rainbow trout (!) and Dove bars
Fairhope - boiled dinner of crawfish, redskins and corn on the cob
