Has any one used Art Store Front? Does any one know any thing about Art Store Front? It was suggested to me but getting information about them is a challenge

I am a fine art photographer with an ASF site linked to Bay Photo in California for my print fulfillment sent direct to customer. It's awesome! If you sell originals you self fulfill those. Off top of my head I think I invested about $2400 up front, but I purchased 2.5 yrs. upfront and all the best features. Now it's $600/yr. But there are variety of options and price structure is all changing because they are offering more services now to set it all up for you if needed. You also have a marketing team coaching you all through out each year. It's a lot of work getting your galleries setup and price markups, but they have tutorials and advice on EVERYTHING! Amazing calendars to follow to keep you on track what you should be doing to best sell your art. I was working a full time job when I started and I'm still working other jobs PT, so haven't become a full time artist yet. It's taking me a couple years to start getting sales. But many other artists have been successful much quicker then me. You can set up a call with them and they will show you a demo and explain everything. They are super great to talk to and truly care about helping artists be successful. If you invest in it, you gotta stick with it. Cuz it's a big investment. But so is doing shows. I'm just starting to do that and wow, this is even more costly!
Hi Barbara,
I have my website with Artstorefronts. It’s excellent. Not cheap. A lot of support on the technical side, and the marketing side, including learning, weekly meetings, plans and schedule for marketing. Awesome artist and photographer community. We’ve gotten to know each other on FB and zoom meetings.
Cost is a one time payment which depends on the level, and then a monthly fee. The website is set up for e-commerce. You can be connected to a printer for print on demand, or be self fulfilled.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you so much Nancy! As I understand it there's an initial cost of $1,000 - do you know why this is charged? They don't seem to share their commission structure or what the monthly fee is. Can you shed any light on that as well? Again, Thank you so much for your insight!

Hi Barbara,
I started with them shortly after they went live. In fact, most of the site's features were in its Beta stages. I originally purchased the licensing in 2015, and I went "live" with my website in early 2016. I don't think finding resources and info about their current (2022) offerings should be a challenge.
There are significant costs to getting started with the platform. They have 3 levels from which to choose. At the time back in 2015, it costs me over $1600.00 for the top-tier option. (Pricing may have changed since I last knew) The annual fee is broken down into a monthly plan. I opted to pay once per year, and it does save some ($600.00 annually) I don't know if the site still offers the same annual 1X per year payment I opted for.
