I'm planning to apply to Art in the Park in Boone, NC and noticed there are several to choose from, from May through October. Does anybody have any advice on which month gets the best attendance? I appreciate any advice you can give me.

We have not had good experiences at Art in the Park. Our feeling is that it is an entry level show, not very competitive, with generally low to mid price point items. It is a one day show, fairly hard to set up and VERY hard to tear down. If you decide to do it, show up at midnite on Friday nite and set up, even if only your tent, propanels, display shelves, etc. When the show is over, crack open a tasty adult beverage, leave your booth set up and wait an hour or two for the rush to be over.
Boone??? Do you mean Blowing Rock? I live here and don't hear a lot of good reports. Seems like the same artist every month. Local economy is not what it was and the sales report aren't good either. The only months worth trying would be August and September. If they offer you May there is a reason. Remember it is only a one day show.
