These folks have been around for a couple of years, but I've never seen a review of any of their shows -- which seems odd.  There is one scheduled in March in the Jax area (Ponte Vedra) that I'd be more than interested in participating if I knew it wouldn't be a waste of time.

Any info on this or other Jacksonville are events would be appreciated!

  • Hi Lin.  By reputation they are low end crafts.  Nothing wrong with that if it's your market, but I doubt it.

If you look at their website (www.tnteventsinc.com)  it looks like it was designed in 1995 by a web designer who was dropping acid while they worked.

I've reviewed shows by Venues Event Planning (www.venuesplanning.com).  They do shows at Sawgrass Village, a shopping center just outside the entrance to Sawgrass TPC golf course on A1A.  Here's a link to my reviews

They are not able to do their fall show because of renovations to the shopping center, but I'm sure they'll be back in the spring.

Also: Check out www.holidayartshows.com; they do a show in St. Augustine.  Jim and Lynn Wettach have been members of AFI, I believe, and they run this show.  Really nice folks!

    • Thank you very much

  • Did you ever find anything else out about them and if so, would you recommend doing their Florida show? I'm thinking about it. Thanks.

  • We did a few shows with them in the past and were fairly successful...Roser Park (now a Howard Alan, American Craft Endeavors event) was our best ever in 2006 with over 10x booth.  We're planning to do a few more with them after the first of the year.

We're also looking at the Jax area show in March.  Maybe we'll see you there.

  • I looked at their website and I am wary anybody calls me a vendor....
    • They can call me anything they want as long as they bring in paying customers.  The lack of response pretty much tells the story I suppose, but it would be nice to have something going on closer to home.
