I have been accepted to Columbia MO Art in the Park and decided to do the show. Columbia used to have a fall show, in a different location, and I liked it, until it was discontinued; so I have always been curious about the one in June.

I have been looking for a booth map for it. I have been unable to find one online. I contacted the show and was told they don’t give them out in advance.

I have not done this art fair before and I am unfamiliar with the park and the show layout. I wanted to see if I could figure out some logistics for my set-up, so as to have some idea what I am in for, and what area might be best to request, as my set up is very time consuming, and it is not drive up unloading.

Does anyone happen to have a map that you wouldn’t mind sharing? I would appreciate it. If so, please send me a friend request so we can communicate directly. Thanks.

  • Linnea,

The Columbia show, IMHO, is one of the best run shows around.  They will help you get your booth gear to your space via golf carts w/small trailers.  You sign up for a cart when you arrive. I didn't do this show last year, but that's how it was before.  The show staff is very helpful.

    • Glad to hear it's well run. They did explain that that was how they transported artists displays to their spaces, but I also need to cart my bins in and out Saturday Morning and evening, and Sunday morning, because I don't leave my work in my booth.  I don't expect there will be golf carts available all of those times, so I will probably need to dolly them myself. That's why I'd like to know which booths are closest to an unloading point.
