Their website is here.

Despite their name, they say they promote "fine arts" as well as craft shows: Haddonfield and the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences, to name two.

I'm a Florida guy; never heard of them.  I'd appreciate any feedback from those who have participated in their events.

  • i do the 9th street italian market in philly and they run the art/craft section. i dont know anything about their other shows, but this market is not what i would call 'fine arts'....there is art, but there is also craft.  i personally love this show and do very well there..very urban.  i have done it 2 previous years and have had no problem with renaissance..they do a good job.
    • See you there, Jeanne:).
      • looking forward to it..i beleive we met last year...you were WAY down at the other end of where i was...and i dont get to leave my booth....but i did a quick walk...(you were with your husband?? we talked about shows i fla i think???) and i loved your stuff...the only thing that was up my alley !

            • oh heck yeah, i remember you, your stuff was so cool! Is so cool. Love it, love it.  You must stay busy all winter I'm sure. We'll catch up, I'd love to hear about how the winter shows treated you up here. WE've been in FL since end of September, doing a show pretty much every weekend, and even made it through 100 % good weather, haven't had a drop of rain on a show day yet. Can't beat those odds, not up north fo sho.
              • Well, seems to be some good mojo around these shows.  I spoke with the director yesterday and am applying to both the shows I was considering.  Thanks, everyone.
  • I've done the Loveladies show on Long Beach Island and have done very well although it can be very hot and is often hit y a storm.  The quality is very mixed.
    • Is there any 2-D fine art?
      • Yes, there is definitely 2-D fine art - some very nice stuff.  There are also some very low end crafts.  I liked doing this show back-to-back with Stone Harbor, but, the past 2 years or so there has been a week in-between and Loveladies is the same time as Ann Arbor.
