Phew! Now that we have found Nels (and furthermore we learned he is a poet), where is Elle Heiligenstein?

Elle joined the site in 2012 and was an amazing contributor as she launched into her art fair career with every show reviewed and her comments and helpful info on many other posts. I met her in person at Ann Arbor and then she dropped from sight.

Was that the final blow? We meet, we show photos of her and then poof! gone?

The real story:

Shortly after she returned home after the Uptown Art Fair her husband, Frank, suffered a debilitating stroke and both Elle and Frank have been immersed in medical emergencies since then. 

Her story:

I am doing better, although worn out!!!!!  Frank is going to be home on Monday which is great, because we can get back to some normalcy.  He is doing well and will need some physical and occupational therapy but is going to fully recover.  My advice to anyone is that if a doctor tells you your Tryglyerides are too high, don't ignore it.  They think that is what caused his stroke.
