Hi everybody, I got into Vero and may have a roommate. Any tips on hotels? I saw the list on accepted letter.
Thanks Beth

Let me try again...
Last year several of us stayed at Howard Johnson's just off 95. It was remodeled and ok. It is about a 10 to 15 minute drive but you save a bunch of money. I already checked the rate and right now it is 42 dollars.
I am in too. Last night I was talking to my husband and I was saying I almost hope I don't get in. With packing and buying a house and renting out a house and just generally holding down the fort on my own I'm getting very tired of being alone in Florida. This morning as I opened up JAS I was thinking OMG I hope the universe didn't hear me say that. I love doing this show. But it will be my last show in Florida for awhile.
And if accepted, even if you decline the invitation, they keep the booth fee. That said, it was a decent show for me the last time I was there... Am waiting to hear. Last time I applied, I found out that I was accepted because they cashed my check. I got the acceptance letter two weeks later.
See...small volunteer organizations really have their hands full making these events happen. Not forgiving their keeping the money, just asking for your patience. They are not being paid to run the show and get to it when they can and sincerely do their best.

would love to share a hotel with another girl-type exhibitor. I will only be home until Jan 20th, and then I will be out of touch for a month.
Any thoughts? beth@crowder.org
