Rushed booth photo and all, Sherry received her acceptance letter today for the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This was our first application, first response, first acceptance and will be our first show. We were both doing the Irish Jig when we opened the letter. Of course, Sherry's Irish Jig was better than mine.
We do want to credit all the invaluable advice provided to us on this forum and offer our sincere thanks to those how offered a helping hand...or keyboard.
Of course we are not done asking questions. Our second application, with Larry's improvements to our booth and art images, went out today to the Inman Park Festival in Atlanta. So now we can begin holding our breath for that response. We are still looking for some late May or June shows within 6-8 hours driving from Knoxville.
Hopefully, we will get to meet a few of you in person this spring.
