3 Fall art Shows Extend Deadlines

Still filling up your fall schedule? Three shows have announced extended deadlines.
- Oct. 13 & 14: Sedona Arts festival, Sedona, Arizona -- Deadline June 8, apply at Zapp
- Nov. 2-4: Metro arts Expo, Des Moines -- deadline June 14, apply at Zapp
- Sept. 28-30: Riverfront Art Festival, Columbus, OH -- deadline June 11, apply at Zapp

    I thought hard about applying to Riverfront before I did it and then noticed the day before the original deadline, they extended it... it made me leery. Does this usually mean they aren't getting enough applicants?

    Yes, they were, Steve. Each event contacted me and each had a different reason for extending their deadlines.

      Thanks Connie,

      I am always a little leary when events extend deadlines. In this day of Zapp Apps it is so easy to collect more jury fees.

    Were these extended prior to the original deadlines? If not I would be asking some questions before applying.
