Cedar Key welcomes 120 fine arts and craftsman March 28 & 29, 2015 to its 51^st annual juried fine arts and crafts festival. Located in the center of Florida's Nature Coast, just 60 miles SW of Gainesville, FL, this small island community has been hosting a Spring Arts Festival since 1964 and attracts high-quality artists and craftsman each year. Compared to larger venues, Cedar Key offers a laid-back, unhurried setting for art enthusiasts to browse artwork in multiple mediums, enjoy art demonstrations and explore this historic town surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty. Local non-profit groups offer seafood, homemade baked items and hand-squeezed lemonade in the beachfront City Park where music and children’s activities make this a perfect family weekend.
