ARTISTS OF PINE AND STRAWBERRY TO HOLD COMMUNITY YARD SALEHave you ever gazed longingly at a beautiful painting, or held a finely-crafted wooden bowl in your hand, thinking how wonderful it would complement your home or what a great gift it would make - if only you could afford it?The Rim country is home to many talented artists, and on Saturday, October 9, members of the Pine-Strawberry Arts & Crafts Guild are joining together under the ramada at the Pine Community Center for a one-of-a-kind, giant Yard Sale,where you will have a rare opportunity to own some of these beautiful works of art at yard sale prices. The event, in the center of Pine on Highway 87, will start at 7:00 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m.In addition to the many fine arts and crafts items that will be available, there will also be a wide-array of miscellaneous items including hunting and fishing equipment, household and kitchen items, garden tools, and much much more.The Pine-Strawberry Arts & Crafts Guild began 30 years ago when local artists decided to come together to host art festivals as a means of promoting the creative arts and to provide monetary support to their rural communities. Todaythe tradition continues with over 30 artists and crafters who live in the Rim area and have a love of the arts and a heart for their community.
