In preparation for the 2010 art festival season, Amdur Productions, one of the nation’s leading art festival production companies, will host two “Art Festival Boot Camp” sessions on December 7th at the Renaissance Hotel in Northbrook.Amy Amdur, President and Founder of her namesake firm, will offer an insider’s perspective on how artists can stand out among the crowd during the jurying process and while exhibiting at festivals. This year, Amdur will host two seminars; one for novice exhibitors and one for more seasoned art festival participants.The “Basic Seminar” will take place from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and the “Advanced Seminar” will take place from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 7th. Both seminars will include:o Tips on how to get into the festivals of your choiceo A mock jury of YOUR WORKo Your booth: What works and whyo Maximizing your sales at festivalso Question and answer sessionThe Advanced Seminar will delve deeper into exhibiting by addressing:• Pricing your art• Advanced booth display• Advanced marketingThe Basic and Advanced Seminars are offered at $150 each and $200 for both.
